: Immediate need in beautiful Carpinteria, CA, seeking a talented, experienced sales professional to join our team in the position of Key Account Manager for a Horticulture company! We are looking for a passionate candidate who loves to sell, engage directly with the largest grocery retailers in the country and supports a culture that is based on relationships and continuous improvement. Duties and Responsibilities: Establish indispensable solution-oriented relationships with buyers and key decision makers. Execute plans regarding distribution, merchandising, pricing, product placement and various programs with our customers. Travel to and meet with customers in the designated market to develop programs, discuss company initiatives and support the needs of the client. Obtain a detailed understanding of the serviced market through store visits, research, and peer review. Effectively communicate the needs of the client and convert those needs into action through clear, detailed, and timely internal reviews. Ensure operational excellence through flawless execution of new item launches, promotions, and committed programs. Planning for, participating in, and supporting trade shows, trade events and major sales events. Qualifications: Related sales experience in Horticulture or CPG industries. Detail orientated; superior problem solving and organizational skills. Strong analytical, presentation skills and Excel proficiency. Ability to lead, communicate and partner with cross departmental support positions. Great benefits.
